Federal environmental laws are handcuffing U.S. Border Patrol agents to a foot-and-horseback strategy as they try to battle Mexican drug cartels and illegal immigrants who are turning wide swaths of America's border with Mexico into a virtual no-man's land.
Rep. Rob Bishop, R-Utah, ranking Republican on the House Parks and Public Lands Subcommittee, said the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge in southern Arizona -- part of which was closed in 2006 because it was considered too dangerous for Americans to visit -- is just the tip of the iceberg.
He said there's plenty of other parkland along the border that's either closed to the public or is considered too dangerous because of concern about drug gangs, human smugglers and illegal immigrants, and that the problem is getting worse.
"You travel here in America at your own risk," Bishop told FoxNews.com.
The reason the parkland along the border has become so hazardous, Bishop said, is because environmental regulations restrict Border Patrol from using vehicles to patrol in those areas -- except in special circumstances. In turn, he said, drug cartels are being funneled into those swaths as immigration agents get tougher patrolling private land.
"It's intensifying," Bishop said. The Utah Republican is one of the co-sponsors of a bill, H.R. 5016, that would allow border agents to patrol parkland without worrying about the environmental restrictions. He described that bill as the solution to the problem.

New attention has been drawn to the issue following reports about the Buenos Aires refuge. Signs have been posted warning Americans not to cross into the closed-off territory -- U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service originally sent around a notice in October 2006 that about 3,500 acres were being closed to public use out of concern for public safety.
"The Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge has been adversely affected by border-related activities," the notice said. "Assaults on law enforcement officers and violence against migrants have escalated. Violence on the refuge associated with smugglers and border bandits has been well-documented."
The Interior Department has said that Secretary Ken Salazar is trying to work with the Department of Homeland Security and other agencies to "meet the twin goals of protecting our national security and our natural resources."
But Bishop said the "irony" of the situation is that trespassers in the lawless zone are trampling the environmental habitat anyway. And he said the Obama administration's plan to send National Guard troops to the border will be inhibited by the restrictions on federal land.
"I don't care how many troops you send down there -- until they have access to the land, it doesn't do any good," he said.

Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator Susan Collins released this statement following President Obama's address to the nation regarding the devastating oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
"The immense oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico is a human and an environmental tragedy. Eleven lives were lost in the accident that led to the oil leak, livelihoods are threatened, and fragile ecosystems are at risk due to the ongoing leak and the sea of oil already polluting the Gulf. Today, eight weeks after the initial accident, we learned that government officials now estimate that up to 60,000 barrels of oil are spewing from the well each day.
"Americans are rightfully frustrated and angry. The Administration's hesitant initial response and BP's repeated failures have increased our questions about whether anyone is truly in charge.
"Last month, our Senate Homeland Security Committee held one of the first Congressional oversight hearings on the oil spill. We heard that despite the known difficulties of working in the cold, dark, and unforgiving environment of the ocean depths-some 5,000 feet below surface-- neither the industry nor the government had any concrete plans on hand for dealing with a catastrophe like this. This is unacceptable, and both industry and government absolutely must be better prepared. In light of this disaster, it is obvious that we need special requirements for drilling operations in these challenging conditions. Until the cause of this disaster is understood, I support the Administration's moratorium on new drilling permits in deep water.
"I am committed to holding accountable those responsible for the disaster, including BP, and to working to ensure that every reasonable measure is taken to help prevent such a spill from occurring ever again.
"I agree with the President's goal that we must expand and diversify American energy resources, but we have different means of achieving that goal. In doing so, we can improve our environment, reduce our dependence on foreign oil, and spur the creation of millions of green energy jobs. In December, along with Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA), I introduced bipartisan legislation called the "Carbon Limits and Energy for America's Renewal," or CLEAR Act, which takes a fresh approach to the persistent problem of how to end America's dangerous addiction to fossil fuels and Middle East oil without harming our economy. It stands in stark contrast to the "cap-and-trade" bill passed in the House last year. Our bill sets a straightforward, direct course toward energy independence and a new economy based upon technological innovation and clean-energy jobs. Instead of cap-and-trade, our approach is "cap-and-dividend," with the money going into the pockets of hard-working American people.
"Our concept is simple. CLEAR would set up a mechanism for selling "carbon shares" to fossil fuel producers through monthly auctions. While the Maine legislature cowers in cowarldy submission to the federal Govt. New Hampshire fights back.
Here in Maine we have a law requiring the issuance or re issuance of licenses to carry concealed weapons within thirty days or deny within that same thirty days with cause. But, if the fed even hints that they would rather a license not be issued or reissued, the Maine State Police will grovel like obama to an Arab sheik.
But just a few miles to our south and west is the State of New Hampshire, a state that is not afraid of obama, the feds or men and women dressed in black that violate every principal of honesty, justice, and the rule of law under the guise of being federal judges.
And while I wait here patiently wondering how long it going to take the Maine State Police to reissue the bosses license to carry, nothing has changed since the last time it was reissued, New Hampshire fires a shot across the bow of the federal draconian government. Bob is not going to call them, he has waited the thirty days and I'm guessing, knowing Bob, that he is now carrying again. As we read the law, if it is not denied within the thirty day period with cause, it is deemed issued.
New Hampshire fights back voiding federal laws that violate the Consitution

The New Hampshire state legislature took an unbelievably bold step Monday by introducing a resolution to declare certain actions by the federal government to completely totally void and warning that certain future acts will be viewed as a "breach of peace" with the states themselves that risks nullifying the Constitution."
This act by New Hampshire is a clear warning to the federal government that they could face being stripped of their power by the States (presumably through civil war!).
The remarkable document outlines with perfect clarity, some basics long forgotten. For instance, it reminds Congress "That the Constitution of the United States, having delegated to Congress a power to punish treason, counterfeiting the securities and current coin of the United States, piracies, and felonies committed on the high seas, and offences against the law of nations, slavery, and no other crimes whatsoever;. . . . . therefore all acts of Congress which assume to create, define, or punish crimes, other than those so enumerated in the Constitution are altogether void, and of no force;"
Federal gun crime laws? Void. Federal drug crime laws? Void. The gazzillion other federal criminal laws that deal with anything other than the specific enumerated crimes? ALL VOID.
One would think that if any lawyer anywhere in the entire country was worth his salt, all federal criminal trials would have ended years ago. This seems to prove that most lawyers are dullards.
New Hampshire deals a complete death blow to the pending federal hate crimes legislation by pointing out "That, therefore, all acts of Congress of the United States which do abridge the freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, are not law, but are altogether void, and of no force;
. . . . ."
Later in the Resolution, New Hampshire makes clear what the feds are now risking if they proceed further: The removal of all powers from the federal government by the States!
Quoting directly from the Resolution: ["That any Act by the Congress of the United States, Executive Order of the President of the United States of America or Judicial Order by the Judicatories of the United States of America which assumes a power not delegated to the government of United States of America by the Constitution for the United States of America and which serves to diminish the liberty of the any of the several States or their citizens shall constitute a nullification of the Constitution for the United States of America by the government of the United States of America. Acts which would cause such a nullification include, but are not limited to:
I. Establishing martial law or a state of emergency within one of the States comprising the United States of America without the consent of the legislature of that State.
II. Requiring involuntary servitude, or governmental service other than a draft during a declared war, or pursuant to, or as an alternative to, incarceration after due process of law.
III. Requiring involuntary servitude or governmental service of persons under the age of 18 other than pursuant to, or as an alternative to, incarceration after due process of law.
IV. Surrendering any power delegated or not delegated to any corporation or foreign government.
V. Any act regarding religion; further limitations on freedom of political speech; or further limitations on freedom of the press.
VI. Further infringements on the right to keep and bear arms including prohibitions of type or quantity of arms or ammunition; and That should any such act of Congress become law or Executive Order or Judicial Order be put into force, all powers previously delegated to the United States of America by the Constitution for the United States shall revert to the several States individually. Any future government of the United States of America shall require ratification of three quarters of the States seeking to form a government of the United States of America and shall not be binding upon any State not seeking to form such a government; and That copies of this resolution be transmitted by the house clerk to the President of the United States, each member of the United States Congress, and the presiding officers of each State's legislature."]

Election official ... I'd testify --- Obama not born in Hawaii
The former Honolulu elections clerk who says President Obama was "definitely" not born in Hawaii and has no birth certificate from any hospital in the Aloha State says he's willing to testify in court to those facts. "The things I've said, I don't mind testifying in court," Tim Adams, the senior elections clerk for the city and county of Honolulu in the 2008 campaign, told WND in an exclusive interview.
"I was working there, and this is what it was. I'm not a lawyer, just a civil servant. I know what I know. I know what I was told by the hospitals and by my supervisors."
Adams, a Hillary Clinton supporter who now teaches English at Western Kentucky University while he works on his master's degree, burst onto the scene last week in a WND story in which he asserted Obama was not born in Hawaii as the White House claims and that a long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate for Obama does not even exist there.
"There is no birth certificate," he said. "It's like an open secret. There isn't one. Everyone in the government there knows this."
"I had direct access to the Social Security database, the national crime computer, state driver's license information, international passport information, basically just about anything you can imagine to get someone's identity," Adams explained. "I could look up what bank your home mortgage was in. I was informed by my boss that we did not have a birth record [for Obama]."
At the time, there were conflicting reports that Obama had been born at the Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu, as well as the Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women and Children across town. So Adams says his office checked with both facilities.
Tim Adams, the former senior elections clerk for Honolulu, says President Obama was "definitely" not born in Hawaii,and a long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate for Obama does not exist in the state. "They told us, 'We don't have a birth certificate for him,'" he said. "They told my supervisor, either by phone or by e-mail, neither one has a document that a doctor signed off on saying they were present at this man's birth."
To date, no Hawaiian hospital has provided documented confirmation Obama was born at its facility.
Adams, 45, stressed, "In my professional opinion, he definitely was not born in Hawaii. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that he was not born in Hawaii because there is no legal record of him being born there. If someone called and asked about it, I could not tell them that person was born in the state."
WND confirmed with Hawaiian officials that Adams was indeed working in their election offices during the last presidential election. "His title was senior elections clerk in 2008," said Glen Takahashi, elections administrator for the city and county of Honolulu. Adams oversaw a group of 50 to 60 employees and was responsible for verifying the identity of voters, especially absentee voters.
It is hard to tell who is dumber, obama or those who voted for him.
Yesterday, Barack Hussein Obama told the POLITICO that the Gulf Coast BP oil spill disaster was like 911. You heard that correct, Obama compared a oil spill, ecological accident to a premeditated terrorist act like September 11, 2001. I wonder how the families who lost loved ones on 9-11 feel about the President's ridiculous comparison? Is it any wonder why Obama's ratings are falling in the polls, he can get nothing right.
Sounding reflective as he heads into a bruising electoral season, Barack Obama told POLITICO columnist Roger Simon that the Gulf disaster "echoes 9/11" because it will change the nation's psyche for years to come.
"In the same way that our view of our vulnerabilities and our foreign policy was shaped profoundly by 9/11," the Obama said in an Oval Office interview on Friday, "I think this disaster is going to shape how we think about the environment and energy for many years to come."
So in other words, Obama wants to take advantage of this oil spill accident to push his socialist, Marxist, liberal agenda. Far be it from this President to let a good crisis to go to waste when he can push his socialist agenda of "Cap & Trade".

LePage Win Sends Shock Waves Through Augusta

The unexpected win by Waterville mayor Paul LePage is sending shock waves throughout the political establishment in Augusta. As late as Election Day, the consensus among Republican voters was that the election was going to go to Augusta insider Peter Mills, or to the multi-millionaire businessman Les Otten, who spent two million dollars on his own campaign.
But voters - including ardent LePage supporters - underestimated the strength of the Tea Party movement, and early on election night, as reports trickled in, it became clear that the popular mayor of Waterville was going to win a huge victory. LePage is unique in Maine for his ability to unite the voting public. In addition to having the support of the Tea Party movement, LePage will have the support of disaffected conservatives, blue collar workers, and Catholic voters. He is that type of political creature most dreaded by the power brokers who control state government from behind the scenes – a populist.
Voter discontent here in Maine is part of a nationwide trend in which a growing segment of the population believes government is at odds with the country at large. Before the trillion dollar bailout of Wall Street investment banks, voter discontent was confined to a manageable level. But the financial misdoings of government, coupled with the vexing problem of illegal immigration, provided clear evidence that Congress prefers certain special interests to the interests of the nation as a whole. A growing number of citizens are also worried that individual rights are being eroded by an out-of-control federal government.
Another factor in the growth of the populist movement is the sanctioning of abortion and so-called "gay marriage," practices which violate the most fundamental rights of citizens. Abortion deprives an unborn child of its most basic right, the right to life, and gay marriage deprives many Christians and other principled individuals of the right to free speech, and violates their freedom of conscience.
Many observers view abortion and “gay marriage” as an attack on the family designed to increase the power of government. Other issues, such as the growing size and power of the welfare state, the shrinking economy, the nationalization of large corporations, and the attack on fathers as the natural providers for their own families, are also viewed as an attempt to increase the power of government at the expense of the individual.
Many members of the public still view politics as a contest between Republicans and Democrats, though the liberal establishment manages affairs in Augusta by controlling the leaders of both parties. One curious - and even bizarre - feature of politics in Augusta is the many interlocking family connections, connections which are not known to the general public. Few people know that the daughter-in-law of Libby Mitchell, the Senate President, is the Chief of Staff for Congresswoman Chellie Pingree. In turn, Chellie Pingree’s daughter is Speaker of the House, the second most powerful position in the Maine Legislature after Libby Mitchell.
Chellie Pingree is on very close terms with the billionaire Connecticut hedge fund manager Donald Sussman, who makes large contributions to various liberal causes in the state, including Equality Maine, the state’s largest “gay”rights organization. Similarly, Senator Peter Mills, an ardent advocate of abortion and gay marriage, is the brother of Attorney General Janet Mills -- a Democrat -- who like her brother, supports abortion and gay marriage.
Predictably, after the vote which made LePage the Republican gubernatorial candidate, Mills announced he is at least temporarily throwing his support to Eliot Cutler, an Independent candidate for governor who not surprisingly supports the “right of woman to choose” and “marriage equality."
LePage’s victory in the primary will make the upcoming gubernatorial election the hardest-fought election in Maine’s history. The liberal establishment, unable to rely on their own record of fiscal mismanagement -- high taxes and lost jobs -- will attack LePage with unprecedented viciousness. Through their connections in the press, they will claim LePage lacks the credentials for holding the highest office in the state; and they will smear him as a man with dangerous ties to the Tea Party. In the end, their efforts will have little effect on Mayor LePage's electability, a man who is being carried along on a tide of populist sentiment which is certain to increase in the coming months.

You know my story – I was homeless at the age of 11, I had to work hard to put myself through high school and college with some help from caring others.
Now having been homeless at the age of eleven I am on the doorstep to the Blaine House in Augusta.
This is the story of the American Dream.
However, that dream is going to be lost in Maine if we don’t begin to tighten our belts in state government and live within our means, if we don’t reform welfare so we value the hard work I did to get to where I am today and if we don’t create jobs in Maine, now.
Tonight… Tonight… is the beginning of that change!!
I want to acknowledge and thank the other candidates who were in this race. They all have some good ideas I have heard along the way and I look forward to incorporating those into my administration when I am elected your Governor.
Now we must re-double our efforts.

Yet, Governor John Baldacci, a man who has dedicated his first term to the furthering of the radical homosexual agenda in Maine, aided by both houses of the Maine State legislature has spit in the face of the people of Maine again.
While it was expected that all of the Democrats would follow the marching orders given them by Baldacci, it was also expected that Republican members would recognize that they were sent to Augusta to represent us, not over rule and dictate to us. That they were in Augusta to protect us, not grovel at the feet of the Governor and his friends in the radical extreme left homosexual movement.
When you take into account the phenomenal cost that SAD 17 is about to incur because of the actions of one homosexual guidance councilor at the high school, you would think that David Hastings, the State Senator that represents the district encompassing SAD 17, would have had the sense to vote against giving homosexuals and lesbians special protection and rights not afforded to the rest of us.
But, alas that was not to be, freshman Senator David Hastings, a lawyer from Fryeburg, Maine, along with five other Republicans voted to obey the Governor and his sodomite friends at the expense of the people of the State of Maine. We have bolded the names of the Republicans, like Hastings, that sided with the radical homosexuals and lesbians against the people of Maine.
Governor Baldacci introduced a bill to give homosexuals and lesbians super Constitutional rights, not given to any other group. This piece of legislation was given the number LD-1196. This bill passed both houses with the undying help of some Republicans like freshman David Hastings, Maine State Senate from Fryeburg to Oxford to Naples.
While the Governor and the homosexuals won, there are some House members that need to be recognized for their bravery and stead fast support of the rule of law, the Maine State Constitution and the Traditional Family.
Democratic Representative, CLARK of Millinocket who voted NO.

Only the three Democrats above joined with the majority of the Republicans voting pro-family, of the Republicans we would like to point out three who did an excellent job in fighting against this antifamily, pro-sodomite Christian hating legislation. Twenty-seven words first published in 1790 are now the source of the bitterest controversy the USA has seen since the 1960s if not since the War Between the States a century before that. They are central to an issue that splits left and right, male and female, white and nonwhite, North and South, East and West, wealthy and not-so wealthy.
They are:
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
Let's get this straight right away. First of all, the inalienable right of individuals to keep and bear arms as a check on a tyrannical government predates our Declaration of Independence and Constitution. This, among other things, was clearly and eloquently expressed in Sir William Blackstone's 1768 "Commentaries On The Laws of England. Hence, the Founders were operating within a long historical tradition based upon English common law.
Secondly, the term well-regulated meant something quite different two centuries ago. It is not todays definition of controlled, limited, or restricted but was instead defined as having proper kit and provisions or in the case of objects or machinery, properly maintained and kept in good repair. The next is the Constitutional definition of the militia, and this what requires detailed explanation. The militia issue was extensively debated during the 1787–89 Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia and today has sadly been ignored by both sides in this issue.
Founder George Mason explicitly wished to have it clearly spelled out that the militia was of the whole people," in effect, a general militia that was affirmed in the Second Amendment and the 1792 Militia Act. Mason and his supporters feared the development of "special militias" ones much like the Puritan "Roundheads" led by Oliver Cromwell and their opponents, the Cavaliers, in the English Civil War of 1642–57. Special militias are nothing more than state-sanctioned paramilitary groups witness the German Nazi SA and its successor the SS as well as the Italian Fascist "Blackshirts." In those cases, Nazi/Fascist Party membership was strictly required to join them as well as to legally own a firearm of any kind in either of those countries at the time.
These two groups were little different than standing armies. The difference is that they were created and used by the German and Italian governments to bypass any laws against using the military domestically against the people (or in the absence of such laws, to forestall the militarys unwillingness to do so) in order to crush dissent and terrorize opponents. (Sound familiar) Cromwell used his Roundheads to do much the same thing, even having King Charles I beheaded after a bogus trial, later closing Parliament and then invading Ireland with plans to wipe out the Catholic population, killing those of his comrades and anyone else who refused to comply.
Distressingly, we now have a lot of special militias in the USA the Secret Service, FBI, BATF, DEA, IRS, the National Guard and todays "near federalized" status of most state and local police departments to name but a few. And they are all unconstitutional, if the plain meaning of the 2nd Amendment and the 1792 Militia Act is correct. George Mason's fears about them were well placed and have come tragically true. All these alphabet-soup special militias can do and have done (other than freely lapping up taxpayer money in ever-increasing amounts) is be responsible for numerous cruel and meaningless tragedies. These range from spying on, harassing and ruining the lives of anyone deemed an enemy of the state, to brutally breaking strikes, violently disrupting demonstrations and killing innocent people in places ranging from Kent State to Ruby Ridge and Waco.
Even the courts are beginning to revive this long forgotten but crucial general vs. special militia distinction. The 1990 Supreme Court case Perpich vs. Department of Defense is a case in point. Then Minnesota Gov. Rudy Perpich claimed the DoD violated the Constitution when it ordered the Minnesota National Guard (which he claimed was the 'state militia') to duty outside the state without his consent or that of the state legislature.
The Supreme Court ruled against Perpich. It held the National Guard is an integral component of the US Army Reserve system (it has been since 1916). It further supported its ruling by specifying the difference between the special militia (in this case the Minnesota Guard) instead of the general militia (citizens with privately procured and owned arms) as expressed in the 2nd Amendment. Also in 1990 the Court in another case affirmed the definition of the people expressed in the Bill of Rights as meaning individual persons, not a group.
So the statist left has its militia and the rest of us have ours. No wonder so many of them cant free themselves from the false but mesmerizing aura of the Militia = National Guard equation. The statist left does not want to because it's interested not in the right of individuals to protect their lives and liberty against a tyrannical federal government, but in giving that tyrannical federal government a blank check, figuratively and literally, to indulge in state-sponsored terror under the tautological trinity of crime prevention," "anti-terrorism" and "national security. And Clinton Defense Secretary William Cohen has all but told us to get used to the idea.

Thinking about these and other statements made by the man who wears the title of president. I keep wondering what country he believes he's president of.
In one of my very favorite stories, Edward Everett Hale's "The Man without a Country," a young Army lieutenant named Philip Nolan stands condemned for treason during the Revolutionary War, having come under the influence of Aaron Burr. When the judge asks him if he wishes to say anything before sentence is passed, young Nolan defiantly exclaims, "Damn the United States ! I wish I might never hear of the United States again!"
The stunned silence in the courtroom is palpable, pulsing. After a long pause, the judge soberly says to the angry lieutenant: "You have just pronounced your own sentence. You will never hear of the United States again... I sentence you to spend the rest of your life at sea, on one or another of this country's naval vessels - under strict orders that no one will ever speak to you again about the country you have just cursed."
And so it was. Philip Nolan was taken away and spent the next 40 years at sea, never hearing anything but an occasional slip of the tongue about America. The last few pages of the story, recounting Nolan's dying hours in his small stateroom - now turned into a shrine to the country he fore swore - never fail to bring me to tears. And I find my own love for this dream, this miracle called America , refreshed and renewed. I know how blessed and unique we are...
But reading and hearing the audacious, shocking statements of the man who was recently elected our president - a young black man living the impossible dream of millions of young Americans, past and present, black and white - I want to ask him, "Just what country do you think you're president of?"
You surely can't be referring to the United States of America , can you? America is emphatically a Christian nation, and has been from its inception! Seventy percent of her citizens identify themselves as Christian. The Declaration of Independence and our Constitution were framed, written and ratified by Christians. It's because this was, and is, a nation built on and guided by Judeo-Christian biblical principles that you, sir, have had the inestimable privilege of being elected her president..
You studied law at Harvard, didn't you, sir? You taught constitutional law in Chicago ? Did you not ever read the statement of John Jay, the first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and an author of the landmark "Federalist Papers": "Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers - and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation - to select and prefer Christians for their rulers"?
In your studies, you surely must have read the decision of the Supreme Court in 1892: "Our lives and our institutions must necessarily be based upon and embody the teachings of the Redeemer of mankind. It is impossible that it should be otherwise; and in this sense and to this extent our civilization and our institutions are emphatically Christian."
Did your professors have you skip over all the high-court decisions right up till the mid 1900's that echoed and reinforced these views and intentions? Did you pick up the history of American jurisprudence only in 1947, when for the first time a phrase coined by Thomas Jefferson about a "wall of separation between church and state" was used to deny some specific religious expression - contrary to Jefferson ' s intent with that statement?
Or, wait a minute . were your ideas about America 's Christianity formed during the 20 years you were a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ under your pastor, Jeremiah Wright? Is that where you got the idea that " America is no longer a Christian nation"? Is this where you, even as you came to call yourself a Christian, formed the belief that " America has been arrogant"?
Even if that's the understandable explanation of your damning of your country and accusing the whole nation (not just a few military officials trying their best to keep more Americans from being murdered by jihadists) of "not always living up to her ideals," how did you come up with the ridiculous, alarming notion that we might be "considered a Muslim nation"?
Is it because there are some 2 million or more Muslims living here, trying to be good Americans? Out of a current population of over 300 million, 70 percent of whom are Christians? Does that make us, by any rational definition, a "Muslim nation"?
Why are we not, then, a "Chinese nation"? A "Korean nation"? Even a "Vietnamese nation"? There are even more of these distinct groups in America than Muslims. And if the distinction you're trying to make is a religious one, why is America not "a Jewish nation"? There's actually a case to be made for the latter, because our Constitution - and the success of our Revolution and founding - owe a deep debt to our Jewish brothers.
Have you stopped to think what an actual Muslim America would be like? Have you ever really spent much time in Iran ? Even in Egypt ? You, having been instructed in Islam as a kid at a Muslim school in Indonesia and saying you still love the call to evening prayers, can surely picture our nation founded on the Quran, not the Judeo-Christian Bible, and living under Shariah law. Can't you? You do recall Muhammad's directives [Surah 9:5,73] to "break the cross" and "kill the infidel"?
It seems increasingly and painfully obvious that you are more influenced by your upbringing and questionable education than most suspected. If you consider yourself the president of a people who are "no longer Christian," who have "failed to live up to our ideals," who "have been arrogant," and might even be "considered Muslim" - you are president of a country most Americans don't recognize.
Could it be you Barak Obama, are a president without a country?

A sobering report circulating in the Kremlin today from President Medvedev’s meeting with other World leaders at the G8 summit in Muskoka, Ontario states that President Obama has warned his counterparts that the Gulf of Mexico oil disaster “will most likely kill millions, perhaps tens of millions” of people during the coming year.
He said there's plenty of other parkland along the border that's either closed to the public or is considered too dangerous because of concern about drug gangs, human smugglers and illegal immigrants, and that the problem is getting worse.
