Russian Leader Warns, “Get All Money Out Of Western Banks Now!”
A Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) “urgent bulletin” being sent to Embassies around the world today is advising both Russian citizens and companies to begin divesting their assets from Western banking and financial institutions “immediately” as Kremlin fears grow that both the European Union and United States are preparing for the largest theft of private wealth in modern history.
According to this “urgent bulletin,” this warning is being made at the behest of Prime Minister Medvedev who earlier today warned against the Western banking systems actions against EU Member Cyprus by stating:
“All possible mistakes that could be made have been made by them, the measure that was proposed is of a confiscation nature, and unprecedented in its character. I can’t compare it with anything but … decisions made by Soviet authorities … when they didn't think much about the savings of their population. But we are living in the 21st century, under market economic conditions. Everybody has been insisting that ownership rights should be respected.”
Unbowed by the misery they have inflicted upon the entire continent, however, and in spite of Russian warnings,European Union officials hardened their stance against Cyprus today by announcing that if the Cypriot government did not allow the raiding of private bank accounts by Monday they would be forced to destroy their banks, which remain closed for the seventh straight day and have no signs of opening soon.
“The parliament of Cyprus was right this week to reject a proposal to confiscate money from modest-sized bank deposits. The idea was a reductio ad absurdum of the euro zone’s policy on the sovereign debt of some of its member-countries.
It would be better for the government of Cyprus to default outright on some of its obligations rather than to seize part of the savings of the proverbial widows and orphans, as well as retirees or those approaching retirement – while purporting to levy a tax. This is especially true in a country that has deposit insurance for up to €100,000, in order to protect small savers.
Until a few years ago, Cyprus – which is really the ethnically Greek section of Cyprus, the Turkish section being a de facto protectorate of Turkey – had a fiscal surplus, but its close relationship to Greece resulted in a downturn when Greece fell into a severe recession. The government’s debt in itself is still manageable, but Cypriot banks have become shaky because of their loans to Greece.”
In the face of massive popular outrage, however, Cypriot MPs spectacularly voted earlier this week against the EU plan to steal their bank depositors money, thus leaving the Euro Zone reeling, a situation that was, in fact, created by European banksters who had forced Cyprus banks to lend money to nearly bankrupt Greece in the first place.
Even worse may be what is in store for the Americans, who on 31 January lost an unlimited US government guarantee that was granted on over $1.5 trillion of their bank deposits during the 2008 financial crisis to assure skittish customers that their cash was safe.
According to Kremlin sources, though, President Obama’s sudden visit to Israel this week, the first he has made since being elected in 2008, was to personally warn top Israelis of his regimes “plan” to begin confiscating his citizen’s bank deposits too.
Interesting to note is that the Obama regimes “master plan” to steal their citizen’s wealth that is no longer protected was detailed by the global management consulting giant, and the world’s leading advisor on business strategy, The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) who in their 2011 September report titled Collateral Damage: Back to Mesopotamia? The Threat of Debt Restruct... warned of the US governments plan confiscate up to 30% of not just the Americans people bank accounts, but also of their other wealth.
“Denial. Denial is safe. Comforting. Religiously and relentlessly abused by politicians who don’t want nor can face reality. A word synonymous with “muddle through.” Ah yes, that “muddle through” which so many C-grade economists and pundits believe is the long-term status quo for the US and the world just because it worked for Japan for the past three decades, or, said otherwise, “just because.”
Well, too bad. As the following absolutely must read report, which comes not from some trader of dubious credibility interviewed by BBC, nor even from an impassioned executive from a doomed Italian bank, but from consultancy powerhouse Boston Consulting Group confirms, the “muddle through” is dead. And now it is time to face the facts.
What facts? The facts which state that between household, corporate and government debt, the developed world has $20 trillion in debt over and above the sustainable threshold by the definition of “stable” debt to GDP of 180%.
The facts according to which all attempts to eliminate the excess debt have failed, and for now even the Fed’s relentless pursuit of inflating our way out this insurmountable debt load have been for nothing.
The facts which state that the only way to resolve the massive debt load is through a global coordinated debt restructuring (which would, among other things, push all global banks into bankruptcy) which, when all is said and done, will have to be funded by the world’s financial asset holders: the middle-and upper-class, which, if BCS is right, have a ~30% one-time tax on all their assets to look forward to as the great mean reversion finally arrives and the world is set back on a viable path.
But not before the biggest episode of “transitory” pain, misery and suffering in the history of mankind. Good luck, politicians and holders of financial assets, you will need it because after Denial comes Anger, and only long after does Acceptance finally arrive.”
To the evidence that the masses of Americans or Europeans average citizens will begin protecting themselves against this apocalyptic outcome their remains little evidence as their so-called “mainstream” media continues to cover-up this coming catastrophe. But, and as Russia has now warned, the time for protecting oneself is fast running out, and the only survivors will be those who listened.
CAUTION CAUTION CAUTION don't even think about signing up for Obama Care, read the following posted by Cory Huddelston!
"Will Sheehan claims that when he tried to sign up for Obamacare and then register to opt out, he received an ominous warning. Sheehan’s full Facebook post reads; “I actually made it through this morning at 8:00 A.M. I have a preexisting condition (Type 1 Diabetes) and my income base was 45K-55K annually I chose tier 2 “Silver Plan” and my monthly premiums came out to $597.00 with $13,988 yearly ...deductible!!! There is NO POSSIBLE way that I can afford this so I “opt-out” and chose to continue along with no insurance. I received an email tonight at 5:00 P.M. informing me that my fine would be $4,037 and could be attached to my yearly income tax return. Then you make it to the “REPERCUSSIONS PORTION” for “non-payment” of yearly fine. First, your drivers license will be suspended until paid, and if you go 24 consecutive months with “Non-Payment” and you happen to be a home owner, you will have a federal tax lien placed on your home. You can agree to give your bank information so that they can easy “Automatically withdraw” your “penalties” weekly, bi-weekly or monthly! This by no means is “Free” or even “Affordable.” "

Why the US has s many evil people in office
The Social Security Administration has begun warning the public it cannot guarantee full benefit payments if the debt ceiling isn’t increased.
When asked by the public, the agency is notifying beneficiaries that “Unlike a federal shutdown which has no impact on the payment of Social Security benefits, failure to raise the debt ceiling puts Social Security benefits at risk,” according to a person familiar with the agency directive.
The warning was assembled after the agency consulted with the Treasury Department, which would play a lead role in determining how the government handles payments if the borrowing limit isn’t raised soon.
“Our employees started receiving questions from the public, so the agency worked with Treasury to provide an answer they could use when asked about the debt ceiling by the public,” a Social Security Administration spokesman said.
Glenn Beck on Tuesday revealed the name of a Republican senator who allegedly insinuated that supporters of FreedomWorks and the Senate Conservatives Fund are traitors to the party: Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.
Beck said he was given the information by someone who is not on his “usual list of friends” and who, if he gave you the name, you would not think “he’s on our side.”
The alleged comments came in a private, off-the-record meeting of Republican senators that reportedly went far beyond politics as usual.
“This guy is just disgusted by what happened, and is one of those guys who was sitting in this meeting, not saying anything, but watching everybody and — show me your friends and I’ll show you your future — and [thinking], ‘I think my friends are not friends of the republic,’” Beck remarked. “‘Not friends of freedom of speech.’”
“Here is what happened,” Beck continued. “As they are all standing in there, they are told in not so many words, that they are on the wrong side. That these people have been here for a very long time, and you new senators come in and you think you know it all. And if anyone is working with the Senate Conservatives Fund or FreedomWorks, you’re a traitor.”
Former President Jimmy Carter said Monday that the income gap in the United States has increased to the point where members of the middle class resemble the Americans who lived in poverty when he occupied the White House. Unfortunatley, he is right.
These three bills now move to the US Senate; It will be interesting to see if ‘independent' Senator Angus King will vote for funding Veterans benefits, for funding the National Guard and Reserves, for funding Veterans benefits, for funding research on children's cancer, or will he continue to vote as commanded by Harry Reid and Obama. Folks it is the party of the democrat that is shutting down the US G0vernment, not the Republicans. Oh but aint it nice to be free of 800,000 Bureaucrats?

Why do we need to borrow money if Social Security is solvent? Michael Schaus Oct 04, 2013 TownHall
Obama's Old, New Tactic: Starve Old People.
In predictable Democrat (read: “ruling class”) fashion, the President has threatened that a failure to reach an agreement on the Debt Ceiling would result in senior citizens being without their coveted social security checks. Of course this raises a big question: Why do we need to borrow money if Social Security is solvent?
The President’s comments, underlying the danger of not authorizing an increase in government debt, highlights the structural concerns within the government’s current fiscal policy. During a campaign style speech (does he give any other kind?) the President said "In a government shutdown, Social Security checks still go out on time, [ but] if we don't raise the debt ceiling, they don't go out on time."
There are so many aspects to this story, it almost induces a sense of intellectual drowning to any economist worth his weight in salt. The notion that the President feels he can garner support for his cause by bribing the American people with inter-generational wealth distribution is quite appalling. . . Even if it is expected. But, if it works, it is a sad narrative on the current state of the American voter.
Furthermore, it should be a self-defeating argument. Democrats have insisted, for decades, that Social Security is a solvent trust fund. According to the Democrats who refuse to acknowledge the need for substantial reforms, the trust fund allows the elderly and disadvantaged access to financial security. In response to arguments that the program is bankrupt, lawmakers like Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and President Barack Obama, insist the trust fund is full of actual monies that are dedicated to funding the entitlement obligations outlined in the program.
So. . . Why would the debt limit impact a solvent, and funded, program?
The truth is, the Social Security trust fund is a pile of IOUs. And, as the President insinuated in his comments, it will be incapable of paying its obligations without further government borrowing from outside interests.
A trust fund, after all, cannot be solvent and in need of credit.
The President’s argument, that social security checks will stop being cut in the event that the Federal government is incapable of borrowing more funds, should be a warning sign to all citizens that our most basic entitlement programs are in dire straits. (Of course, it’s not as if we’re wasting money on keeping Andrew’s Air Force Golf Course open, or anything. Right?)
The Left is 'terrified out of their minds,' says Ted Cruz
By CHARLIE SPIERING
Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, believes the sharp rhetoric coming from Democrats about the government shutdown proves Tea Party Republicans are beginning to achieve changes that threaten the business-as-usual mentality in the nation's capital.
"Why are they screaming so loudly? Why are they getting so personal? Why are they so filled with hate and fear?" Cruz asked during an phone interview with Glenn Beck on his radio show Thursday.
Cruz suggested that it was because the American people were finally mobilizing against Obamacare.
"That has the Left terrified out of their minds," Cruz said.
Cruz said President Obama and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid wanted to shut down the government because they believed that it would help them politically, and that the mainstream media is supporting their talking points.
Former Joint Chiefs chairman: Obama plotted to destabilize regimes in Bahrain, Egypt
Special to WorldTribune.com
WASHINGTON — The United States was said to have planned to destabilize at least two Arab countries over the last two years.
A former leading U.S. military commander asserted that the administration of President Barack Obama worked to destabilize the regimes of Bahrain and Egypt.
[Ret.] Gen. Hugh Shelton, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
[Ret.] Gen. Hugh Shelton, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said the administration’s drive against Bahrain, wracked by a Shi’ite revolt, was led by the intelligence community.
“America thought Bahrain was an easy prey that will serve as key to the collapse of the GCC [Gulf Cooperation Council] regime and lead to giant oil companies controlling oil in the Gulf,” Shelton said.
In an interview on the U.S. network Fox News, Shelton said the administration plot was foiled by Bahraini King Hamad in 2011. He said Hamad agreed to a Saudi-sponsored decision by the GCC to send thousands of troops to Bahrain to help quell the Shi’ite revolt, attributed to Iran.
Shelton, who met Hamad during his assignment to the U.S. Navy Fifth Fleet, based in Manama, said the administration plot harmed relations with both Bahrain as well as neighboring Saudi Arabia. He said Riyad ended any trust in Washington after it was found to have helped the Shi’ites in Bahrain.
The former Joint Chiefs chairman, who served under President Bill
Clinton and President George W. Bush, said Egypt stopped a drive by Obama to
destabilize Egypt in 2013. Shelton said Egyptian Defense Minister Abdul
Fatah Sisi, a former intelligence chief, also detected a U.S. plot to
support the ruling Muslim Brotherhood amid unprecedented unrest. On July 3,
Sisi led a coup that overthrew Egypt’s first Islamist president, Mohammed
“Had Gen. Al Sisi not deposed Morsi, Egypt would have today become
another Syria and its military would have been destroyed,” Shelton said.
Shelton, who did not disclose his sources of information, said Arab
allies of the United States have moved away from Washington. He cited the
new alliance between Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates
against the Brotherhood.
“I expect calm to be restored in Egypt,” Shelton said. “Gen. Al Sisi has
put an end to the new Middle East project.”
Cartoon depicts how the US press treat comments by Ted Cruz to another conservative Republican.
So now we have to dress like Miley Cyrus to sell Obamacare?
Attractive women wearing nothing but a smile and flesh-colored underwear emblazoned with the motto “Are You Covered?” strolled the most popular shopping areas of Denver in the name of the Affordable Care Act this week. Oh, and there were blondes in the shortest of short shorts plus muscular young men in gray flannel boxers — and that is all — also on parade. They sported beribboned signs reading “Without health insurance, you’re exposed.”
The earnest models were handing out information to startled passers-by, hired by Colorado HealthOP, a nonprofit insurance company eager to get the message about the new health care law to the public. Some of the locals were not impressed.
“So now we have to dress like Miley Cyrus to sell Obamacare?” asked Kelly Maher, a politically inclined Denver mother, who took her multiple protests to Twitter.

Breaking news: No One Signs Up for ObamaCare in Sebelius' Own State of Kansas
The woman who is behind the controls of ObamaCare was unable to convince even one person from Kansas, the state she used to govern, to sign up for it.
Though HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is the former governor of Kansas, Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-KS) was informed by an insurance provider in his home state that none of the 365,000 uninsured people living there successfully signed up for insurance on the ObamaCare exchange on the first day.
According to LifeNews, Huelskamp had his own difficulties signing up in the exchanges as well, waiting “on hold” for over 60 hours, and still, as of Thursday, being unable to sign up.
Special to MaineTV.net Democrats Pay Union Members to Protest World War II Vets
It appears that the Obama administration is violating the First Rule of Holes. Yesterday the administration looked awful when it “closed” and barricaded the World War II memorial on the Mall. The memorial is, by its nature, open. There is nothing to close. And the administration knows that every day, tour groups consisting of WWII vets, now mostly in their late 80s or early 90s, come to Washington to visit the memorial. So the administration couldn’t resist closing the WWII memorial by putting up barricades, as part of their effort to dramatize how terrible the government “shutdown” is.
Yesterday, as we noted here, the administration suffered a public relations disaster when a group of elderly vets from Mississippi, aided by one or more Republican Congressmen, pushed the barriers aside and visited the memorial. But the administration was still undeterred: a park service employee threatened to arrest any vets who may try to visit the WWII memorial in the future, while the shutdown is in effect.
The best thing the Obama administration could do is quietly remove the barricades around the memorial and forget the whole thing. But no: it happened again today. Fortunately, PJ Media was on hand to record the action:
The same scene was reenacted again today as two Honor Flights from Missouri and Chicago arrived in prearranged visits. These Honor Flights were met by hundreds of ordinary citizens and about a dozen members of Congress, who once again crashed the barricades to let the veterans into the WW2 Memorial.
After about an hour, about 20 SEIU protesters arrived on the scene chanting “Boehner, get us back to work” and claiming they were federal employees furloughed because of the shutdown.
WWII veterans visiting the memorial that was erected in their honor vs. paid SEIU protesters: great optics for the Obama administration! But it gets worse. The protesters claimed to be furloughed federal employees:
In the video below these protesters were marching towards the press gaggle and I was asking them to show their federal IDs to prove they were in fact federal workers. No one wore their federal ID and none would provide it to prove their claim.
Then, remarkably, a guy carrying a sign passed by wearing a McDonald’s employee shirt, which I noted. I then began asking them how much they had been paid to protest, at which point the guy wearing the McDonald’s shirt came back and admitted he had been paid $15 to attend the protest.
Here is the video. As you watch it, try to imagine what public relations genius in the Obama administration thought that this would play well for the president and Harry Reid:
You can’t make this stuff up: World War II veterans come to Washington to see their monument, and the Obama administration tries to block them by putting up barricades. When that blunder starts getting media attention, the administration doubles down by paying union members $15 to march around, waving signs and protesting–as though that were a sure-fire way to generate sympathy for the nonessential federal employees who are getting the day off. Is it possible that the Democrats could be snatching defeat from the jaws of victory?
And does that perhaps have something to do with Obama’s backing down on his vow not to talk with Congressional Republicans?
Mothers to Mothers
Special to MaineTV.net: Mother to Mother on vaccines By Dee Hipp
Flu season is upon us, which of course means many Americans will be going out and receiving their Flu Shots. My father in law is one of these people. You know, the kind that go out and get a flu shot every year fearing catching the flu; yet, apparently, unaware of the fact that the flu shot is almost always completely useless & that the dangers of mercury in the shot far outweigh the danger of being ill with the flu. It's funny that he goes to get the shot every year because he never gets sick, which tells me he has an exceptionally strong immune system, despite exposing himself to the chemicals and immune suppressing toxins that are contained in vaccines.
However, last year he did get his shot and then was ill with the flu immediately afterward, for days. Clearly, exposing himself to the virus in the vaccine resulted in a full blown attack, but I'm sure he didn't see it that way. In any case, this year is no exception- he will be getting his flu shot and now I'm pretty sure his doctor will recommend him getting the shingles shot also.
Why not, now that we are vaccinating against the chickenpox, a completely safe and benign childhood illness, our adult and senior population is not being exposed to the chickenpox virus anymore which is putting them at a huge risk for getting shingles. Well the only catch this year is that I am currently 32 weeks pregnant and am worried about him getting these live virus shots and then coming home to shed them all over our house (multi-generation house).
I wasn't sure if the shingles shot would cause him to shed chickenpox, upon some research it appears that it in fact can.
Now, I have had the chickenpox because back in the 80's when I was young people weren't afraid of all these childhood illnesses & we didn't run to the doctor for every sniffle, actually my mother almost never took us to the doctor- thanks mom! So Although I have had it, I am not sure what would happen now that I am pregnant- and my 4 yr old son has not had it so I'm sure he would be at risk of contracting it- although that might actually be a good thing. I would love for him to get the chickenpox naturally, Heck I'd love for him to get measles naturally- but I am afraid that the vaccine virus is not a natural virus. I know many vaccines contain GM viruses and that they are super bugs compared to their ancestors, which is what is of concern. That and the fact that I don't need him bringing the flu home while I'm so far along in my pregnancy- I don't fear the flu, or any other bug, but I don't welcome it either.
The Special Privilege of Being a Parent of a Child With Down Syndrome
by Eileen Haupt LifeNews.com
October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month. It is a time when scores of advocacy organizations and individuals across the country do their utmost to raise awareness about this genetic condition.
I was thinking about Awareness and how unaware I was about Down syndrome prior to the birth of Sadie, my second daughter, almost 15 years ago. It got me thinking, what are some of the things I would like others to be aware of?
In particular, because such a high percentage of babies diagnosed with Down syndrome are aborted—estimates run as high as 90%– I thought I’d use this post to talk to the mothers carrying babies with Down syndrome. There is so much information available now, but unfortunately a lot of it is misinformation.
So, to the mother who has recently been told by her doctor that her unborn baby has Down syndrome, here’s what I would like her to know:
You will love your baby. Really. You have received many subtle and not so subtle negative messages about individuals with this condition. These messages are distorted; they are not the truth. The truth is that you will fall in love with your baby, just as you would any of your children.
It is very normal to feel fear and sadness when you receive the news. You might be tempted to abort your baby because of this fear and sadness. But if you do abort her, your fear may go away, but the sadness will remain. Always. However, if you bring your baby to birth, you will discover that year fear was more daunting than reality, and your special baby will transform your sadness into joy! Be not afraid!
Maybe you worry that you could never “handle” a child with special needs, that you are not that type of woman. Though, of course, all children are different and have their own gifts and challenges, I can say from my experience that caring for my daughter is a piece of cake. That is not to say there are not challenges, but there are with any child. You grow with your child; neither you nor anyone else automatically becomes “that type of woman.” But you can do it!
Perhaps you feel overwhelmed with information about Down syndrome. Though the chances of having certain health issues are greater with Down syndrome, it doesn’t mean your child will have them. Many of these issues, including heart defects, are treatable. My daughter had a heart defect and had open heart surgery to correct it at the tender age of 3 months! She came through it with flying colors, and has been very healthy ever since. She has none of the other issues that we are warned about.
Teaching The Test: The Coming Common Core Disaster
The new national education standards adopted by 45 States and the District of Columbia and now slipping into America’s schools are a collectivist’s dream.
Called Common Core, it is an attempt to create a Federally controlled education system designed to turn children into mind-numbed drones devoid of imagination and inculcated with a progressive culture of redistributionist economics, social justice, the mainstreaming of perverted lifestyles, secular humanism and radical environmentalism. It is a one-size-fits-all scheme that will dumb down students to the lowest common denominator.
Proponents of the program — people like radical Education Secretary Arne Duncan (champion of ridiculous zero-tolerance policies that lead to expulsions over breakfast tarts bitten into and papers torn into the shape of guns) — claim the goal is to prepare all students for entrance into community college. Never mind the fallacious logic that all children need a college education or even that a college education has much value in today’s part-time Obamacare economy, the truth is Common Core’s curriculum will create a group of students ignorant but well-prepared and well-versed in taking tests, as teachers will be evaluated on their students test scores rather than whether the children are learning anything useful.
Cash-strapped States grasped onto Common Core as a lifeline. President Barack Obama offered them hundreds of millions of dollars in “stimulus” funds and relief from the insidious No Child Left Behind standards that were to hit in full force in 2014. They did so sight unseen, based on the recommendation of two progressive lobbying groups, the National Governor’s Association (NGA) and Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) — the groups that hold copyrights over the standards. The standards were written by the leftist ACHIEVE, Inc., without input from State legislators, school boards, teachers or parents.
In addition to Federal “stimulus” dollars, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has dumped nearly $200 million into Common Core through the NGA, CCSSO, ACHIEVE, teachers’ unions, nonprofits and State and local school boards that are pushing Common Core. For more on the crony capitalist nature of Common Core, go here and here.
So what has Gates to gain from doing such a thing? In order to comply, schools will be purchasing a computer for every student and the software needed to run the curriculum, education program and testing system. In fact, Gates as much as admitted this in 2009 at the National Conference of State Legislators:
Fortunately, the State-led Common Core State Standards Initiative is developing clear, rigorous common standards that match the best in the world. Last month, 46 Governors and chief State school officers made a public commitment to embrace these common standards.
This is encouraging, but identifying common standards is not enough. We’ll know we’ve succeeded when the curriculum and the tests are aligned to these standards.
Secretary Arne Duncan recently announced that $350 million of the stimulus package will be used to create just these kinds of tests: next-generation assessments aligned to the common core. When the tests are aligned to the common standards, the curriculum will line up as well. And that will unleash powerful market forces in the service of better teaching.
For the first time, there will be a large uniform base of customers eager to buy products that can help every child learn and every teacher get better.
In other words, Gates sees millions of new customers eager to buy products created by Microsoft that align with copyrighted standards established by a nonprofit he controls.
The Federal and grant money that has so far been poured into Common Core implementation will cover only about half the costs. The rest must be accumulated through local means. In addition to computers for every student, Common Core requires school systems to install a group of “master teachers” who will be charged with coaching, monitoring and assessing classroom teachers and ensuring their ability to teach the tests.
So what about the education students will be receiving from Common Core? According to teacher and author Dean Kalahar, it is geared toward ensuring “schoolchildren believe that America has been a nation of bigots, racists, greedy collusive poverty creating capitalists, war mongering imperialists, anti-immigrant, segregating, discriminating, and disenfranchising racists and farmers; and that kids should be an anti-war peace loving through diplomacy, diversity and immigration seeking, tolerant through racial identity politicking citizens of big government spending through redistribution of wealth and regulation providing Medicare, minimum wage, civil rights and affirmative action powered by the auspices of globalization and the United Nations.”
Stanford University professor James Milgram, the only mathematician on the validation panel, concluded that the Common Core math scheme would place American students two years behind their peers in other high-achieving countries. In protest, Milgram refused to sign off on the standards. He’s not alone.
According to New York University Professor Jonathan Goodman, Common Core math standards imposed “significantly lower expectations with respect to algebra and geometry than the published standards of other countries.” The American Principles Project and Pioneer Institute notes that under Common Core, the teaching of algebra I begins in the ninth grade rather than the current eighth, as is common. Division is postponed to sixth grade. Prime factorization, common denominators, fractional conversion and decimals are de-emphasized.
Or, as Grayslake, Ill., curriculum director and Common Core proponent Amanda August told one group in explaining Common Core: “Even if they said 3 X 4 was 11, if they were able to explain their reasoning, and explain how they came up with their answer, really in words and in oral explanation… we’re really more focused on the explanation and the how and the why.”
Additionally, Euclidian geometry will be replaced with a dubious geometry standard; and rote memorization will be greatly reduced. Great literature and works of fiction will be replaced with technical materials. These include technical manuals that enhance the computer-centric method that Common Core stresses.
Common Core also creates informational databases that make National Security Agency snoops envious. The State Longitudinal Database Systems called for in the program gather tons of information — including personally identifiable information that includes parents’ names, addresses, Social Security numbers, birth dates, place of birth, mother’s maiden name, etc. — that can be sold or distributed to third parties. Students will essentially become lab rats, as the data will also examine and catalog student frustration, motivation/flow, confidence, boredom and fatigue during the course of their studies.
It will also collect sensitive information from children including:
Political affiliations or beliefs of the student or parent.
Mental and psychological problems of the student or the student’s family.
Sex behavior or attitudes.
Illegal, anti-social, self-incriminating and demeaning behavior.
Critical appraisals of other individuals with whom respondents have close family relationships.
Legally recognized privileged or analogous relationships, such as those of lawyers, physicians and ministers.
Religious practices, affiliations or beliefs of the student or the student’s parent.
Income (other than that required by law to determine eligibility for participation in a program or for receiving financial assistance under such program).
School boards across the country are doing all they can to avoid answering the tough questions now coming from parents just waking up to what’s befallen their children. But they’d better get ready to answer them; because when students begin failing the tests, parents are going to want to know why — just like in New York, where the failure rate of students was 69 percent. For blacks and Hispanics the failure rate was 84 percent.
When students fail tests and teachers are held accountable, teachers and school administrators look bad. The tests are then dumbed down so more students can pass and the teachers and administrators can say their techniques are working. Meanwhile, more and more automatons are walking out the school doors into failure and dependency.

things have happened to me in the past few weeks that may seem unrelated,
but have become connected for me. One is a video that has gone viral on YouTube;
as of my writing, it has over 13 million views. It is of a fireman saving
a kitten from a burning building:
Harry Ried giving orders to democrats and Angus 'the' King, telling them who they support, who is their master;
The video does not show the followers of the democrat getting down on their knees with their heads on the ground and their butts pointed towards the continental USA while chanting "yes master, yes master" over and over again.
One more clip of Senator Angus King of Maine's master, for it is Reid that King follows and serves, not the people of Maine. Listern to Reid telling CNN that one kid with cancer doesn't count. Folks we need a US senator not a king.
While NY Magazine writer Jonathan Chait mocked them, Representative Michelle Bachman (R-MN) and several Republican members of Congress helped tear down the barricades shutting the elderly veterans out of the WWII memorial. After the barricades were removed, dozens of veterans flooded in to conduct their often emotional visits. Chait, like a good little follower of the dmocrat referrred to the WW 2 vets as Nazis.
The White House and the Department of the Interior rejected a request from Rep. Steven Palazzo’s office to have World War II veterans visit the World War II memorial in Washington, the Mississippi Republican told The Daily Caller Tuesday.
Palazzo helped the veterans commit an act of civil disobedience against the Park Service Tuesday, when the heroes stormed through barricades around the closed memorial.
Maine Governor, Paul LePage, Regrets Signing Common Core Curriculum Into Law
Remember me writing about the Common Core State Standards Initiative that was developed by the National Governors Association Center? In reality, the production of the education curriculum was prompted by the federal government, but hidden under the guise of the state governors to help sell it to the American people.
Since its inception into classrooms all across America, more and more parents have become alarmed at what the Common Core curriculum is teaching their kids. If you recall, I shared about one book on the recommended reading list for 11th graders that glorified rape, incest and pedophilia. Then another book surfaced that is recommended reading material for 10th graders and is nothing more than pure pornography in words.
These are only the tip of the iceberg of liberalism that permeates the Common Core standards. It also takes a lot of the control away from local schools and school districts as to what they can and cannot teach. And in one state, that is causing concern among parents, teachers and conservatives so much so that it may affect the re-election of a conservative governor who signed it into law.
Paul LePage is governor of Maine. He is a conservative Republican, but signed the Common Core Standards into law only 4 months after being sworn into office January 2011. He is now having second thoughts about the Common Core Standards as there is a growing number of conservatives in the state that don’t like it. This is starting to affect his support base that he desperately needs for his re-election bid in 2014.
Rev. Bob Celeste, pastor of ChristianPatriot.com, said that while he still backs LePage, hundreds, if not thousands within the group are questioning whether or not they will support LePage next year because of the Common Core standards.
When the question of school control came up, LePage signed an executive order reaffirming that Maine schools should have local control over what they teach. Pastor Celeste said that the executive order helps but was not a total solution. He stated that LePage needs to remove Common Core from Maine schools saying:
Unfortunately, doing away with the Common Core Standards is not that easy. Some say it will take a lot of money, time and political power to eradicate the ‘one-size fits all’ standards. As I said before, the feds are the ones behind it and they will use whatever measures necessary to make sure that states keep and utilize the socialist curriculum.
In the meantime, at least one conservative Republican regrets letting the Common Core Standards from sinking its claws into his state’s children. Although LePage represents everything else that Maine’s conservatives want, his signing the Common Core into law may be enough to foil his bid for re-election. Hopefully parents and conservative groups elsewhere will also take action against those responsible for implementing Common Core in their states and push to get it thrown out.
Will someone please read Article Ten of the Bill of Rights to LePage. Might also mention to him that there is nothing in the Maine State Constitution authorizing the Fed to have any imput at all in Maine Schools. Don't these buffons in office ever read what they swear to uphold? Article Nine section one: "I, do swear, that I will support the Constitution of the United States and of this State, so long as I shall continue a citizen thereof. So help me God." It is not good to swear a lie in God's name.

Shutdown: Democrats Trigger “All or Nothing” Bluff The New American
The federal government entered into a partial shutdown at midnight October 1 as congressional leaders were unable to agree upon a “continuing resolution” appropriations bill to fund programs in the new fiscal year. The partial shutdown — something that has happened 17 times since 1976, but not at all since 1996 — means that some non-essential federal agencies will close their doors, such as national parks and tour guides of Washington, D.C. government offices.
In the budgetary battle, Republican control of the House guarantees the party a constitutional stranglehold on government spending. All spending must be approved by the House of Representatives under the U.S. Constitution. But Democrats have dug in ideologically, and pledged that unless all functions of the federal government are funded, the Democrat-controlled Senate and White House will ensure that no funding bill becomes law. “Our negotiation is over with,” Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid told reporters September 30. “And I've said that for two weeks.”
The question is: Will Republicans — who have all the constitutional leverage — bow to pressure and fund ObamaCare if poll numbers turn against them (as opinion polls already have done slightly)? Under the U.S. Constitution, Democrats cannot force Republicans to pass funding for ObamaCare. But in the 1995-96 shutdown crisis, House Republicans largely gave in to Clinton White House demands that government spending continue largely unchecked. Thus, employing the threat of a perpetual shutdown and trying to shift the blame to Republicans using the Democratic-controlled mass media may be the best means Democrats have to extract the ObamaCare funding.
The Democratic-led U.S. Senate rejected a House-passed bill September 30 that would have funded all functions of the federal government except ObamaCare through December 15. The U.S. Senate voted down the House bill because it would have delayed the healthcare mandate of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act for one more year (the mandate took effect today), and because it repealed a medical device tax that would have funded much of the budgetary costs of ObamaCare. Democrats have demanded a “clean continuing resolution” in the budget battle, meaning that the appropriations bill would simply fund all functions of the federal government without any other changes in law within the bill. Republicans have insisted that funding in the bill not pay for ObamaCare, and added the medical device tax repeal to their version of the bill.
What does a “clean” continuing resolution mean?
Ideally, appropriations bills are supposed to be “spending only” bills, passed after — and separate from — the “authorization” bills establish the programs and funding levels that are enacted into law. Congress has tried to separate the constitutional functions by designating authority to make rules for programs (authorizations) to specialized committees, such as the House Armed Services Committee deciding what jet aircraft to buy for the Air Force, and by putting all funding (appropriations) into a single appropriations committee for funding. The process means that Congress votes twice before any money is spent from the U.S. Treasury, if the process works.
But very often it does not happen that way. In many instances, members of the appropriations committees in both the House and Senate have demanded special allotments for projects in their districts, creating both the programs and the funding in the same bill. And in many other instances, the reverse happens. Programs that are set up and passed into law with funding levels set over many years but have their funding cut during the appropriations process, as recently happened with the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.
In the case of the F-35, cost overruns along with lack of military necessity created congressional pressure to withhold appropriations from elements of the program. The same may be said of ObamaCare, which has created sticker-shock in some people's premium increases and will cost twice as much over 10 years (according to the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office) as Obama had predicted.
The funding battle has focused upon implementation of ObamaCare, with calls by Tea Party-aligned congressmen demanding “defund ObamaCare.” Indeed, the costs of ObamaCare will amount to nearly $1.8 trillion over the next decade. But the individual healthcare mandate — the most unpopular part of the bill, which requires persons to purchase health insurance or pay higher income taxes — involves no direct costs to the federal government. Thus, defunding ObamaCare would not abolish the mandate, though it may become more difficult to enforce the mandate if funding were eliminated for all aspects of the program.
The drive to defund ObamaCare may pick up steam after the Washington Times reported September 30 that many government workers suddenly became eligible for taxpayer-subsidized abortions for the first time in a generation. The Times quoted the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) acknowledging that the healthcare coverage paid for with tax dollars now includes coverage of abortions. The OPM claims they will try to undo this change — which violates federal law — in the transition to ObamaCare. “While plans with such coverage may be offered on an Exchange, OPM can and will take appropriate administrative steps to ensure that the cost of any such coverage purchased by a member of Congress or a congressional staffer from a designated [exchange] is accounted for and paid by the individual rather than from the government contribution, consistent with the general prohibition on federal funds being used for this purpose,” the Washington Timesreported the Office of Personnel Management said in its ruling.
In the ongoing battle over federal funding, both sides have employed ever more desperate rhetoric. "Look, the bottom line is very simple. You negotiate on this, they will up the ante for the debt ceiling and the full-time CR," Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) told The Hill September 30. "You cannot negotiate when they take hostages and when they extort, period." But who will win the funding battle will depend upon which side folds its hand first, as Democrats have little constitutional leverage other than to threaten a shutdown until their demands are met.
The federal fiscal year 2014 began at midnight October 1.
Update for Tuesday October 1, 2013, 2014 update
US Govt Closed till further notice!! Praise God.
Folks please call Senator Angus King, Congressman Chellie Pingree and Michale Michaurd and thank them, yes thank them, for being so pigged headed.
Thanks to King, Pingree and Michuard we will now see how many of US G0vernment employees, probably in the millions, are non essential. Think about it, how many essential employees does your company employ? Now, all of the fat on the g0vernment payroll, well maybe not all, but a lot f the fat on the public payroll will switch from the g0vernment payroll to the public dole. Without the total disdain they have for us the people and the total devotion and loyalty, love and worship they have for obama, pelosi, and reid, Michaud, Pingree, and King might have voted for us instead of against us and we would never of found out how much fat there is on the US Government payroll. *******
Why I and all who attend ACP carry guns.
Let me first and foremost say that while I have a state of Maine issued license to carry, I, as a Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian, do not need one, for God Almighty Himself has commanded that I carry up to two guns, not that my ownership be limited to two weapons but that I carry two at any given time. Therefore Religious liberty, as guaranteed by both the US and the state of Maine Constitutions, allows me and all who belong to Christ, to observe our sincerely held religious beliefs and carry, concealed or open, with or without a state issued permit.
In Luke 22:35, 36, &38 from the ACP/KJV expanded, we read: " 35 And Jesus said unto them, "When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing?" And they said, "Nothing." 36 Then said Jesus unto them, "But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. ... 38 And they (epo) said, "Lord, behold, here are two swords." And Jesus said unto them (autos), "It is enough."
The key here are the two Greek words, epo and autos and their translation and why they were translated the way they were. But let me start by saying that a more proper translation of verse 38 is And he (epo) said, "Lord, behold, here are two swords." And Jesus said unto him (autos), "It is enough." Why he and him instead of they and them? Well the Greek word, ‘epo' can be translated as either ‘they' or ‘he', it is more often, and in this context more correctly, translated as ‘he', just as is ‘auto' is more properly translated ‘him' but why did the original translators back in the years leading up to the KJV 1611 translate the two words as a group and not as individuals? Simple. King James did not want the common man armed. t was called weapon control. Only the government could have weapons. Jesus commanded that the common Christ-following man be armed.
Now when you translate it correctly you can see that Jesus commands His followers to have up to two swords. That would be the long sword and the shorter sword carried by the troops of both the temple guard and the soldiers of Rome, aka the government(s), which shows us where the founding fathers of our once great, proud, and self sufficient country got the idea for Article Two of the Bill of Rights.
Therefore as a follower of what God said in His Holy Book, the Holy Bible, and not a follower of one who tells us what God really meant to say in His Holy Book the Bible, I, by my very religious beliefs and commitment to follow Christ, am entitled to carry with or without a state issued license, for the very First Article of the Bill of Rights guarantees me that right: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;". As a Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian, I strive to live my daily life as the Lord God Almighty, The Creator of the Universe, Christ Jesus, has dictated in His book, the Holy Bible, not the way some liberals claim we are to live. Want me to follow your dictates, your principles, your claims of how I should live? Do two things, first go get crucified for my sake and second come back to life after three days and let me put my hand in the hole in your side and my fingers in the nail holes in your wrist and ankles.

Is this being shown in public schools in Maine? Ask your kids and let us know.
Karma is coming for the elite in a big way. As the Powers That Be head toward a devastating defeat in their war plans for Syria, signs are emerging that their rule over humanity is rapidly diminishing.
Over the last decade the global elite have been on a mad dash to consolidate power over the world. It's always been their plan like some evil villain in a comic book, but after 9/11 the plan went into overdrive and then turbo charged during the financial crisis of 2008.
Yet it's doomed to fail because humans are meant to be guided by their own free will, not controlled like livestock. The more the elite try to control humanity, the more entropy occurs. Entropy, for those who don't know, is the lack of order or predictability; a gradual decline into disorder.
Although the elite still enjoy a huge wealth advantage over the masses, they are now resigned to behaving like tyrants to maintain control. This, in turn, exposes their dark side which has been cleverly concealed for ages. Not anymore.
People are waking up in droves, at least as fast as the elite can build their full-spectrum prison matrix. Let them try. To paraphrase Victor Hugo, "No army can stop an idea whose time has come."
Here are ten signs that the elite are losing control over the people:
1. Official lies no longer effective: The lies they tell simply don't work anymore. There was a time when official lies, especially about war and peace, were believed. Because, after all, how evil would it be to lie about such things? Generally people want to believe they are being told the truth when life and death is at stake. The boy who cried wolf has cried one too many times. Even if they told the truth at this point, very few would believe them.
2. No confidence in politics: US politicians have a paltry approval rating. The trust in government is at all-time lows here and around the world. Mainstream polls show only 10% of the public has confidence in Congress. In other words, 90% don't believe in them to be competent to govern.
Watch this Town Hall exchange below where a man threatens US Senator John McCain with arrest for treason to his face. This would have never happened just a year or two ago:
3. No confidence in media: The most recent polls show that 77% of the population no longer trusts corporate TV news. Is it any wonder why the establishment media failed to sell the lies about the alleged Syria chemical event? With all their monopoly might over the airwaves, they can no longer claim that black is white simply because officialdom says so.
4. Bankers rejected: Hungary recently became the first country to follow Iceland's lead by shedding international bankers (IMF) and is considering pursuing prosecution of past prime ministers who enslaved the people with debt.
Look for this trend to continue even if nations decide to default to break free.
5. Vatican abruptly cleaning up its act: Under the previous Pope, Pope Benedict, scandals erupted from the Vatican ranging from covering up pedophile priests to money laundering and fraud. Benedict, in an unprecedented move, abruptly retired to make way for a seemingly much more likable Pope Francis. Pope Francis by all measures is working furiously to reclaim the church's peaceful and humble reputation. Whether this is genuine or a PR move, it's telling that the church was forced into such a drastic turnaround to save itself from losing all credibility.
6. Mutiny among soldiers: Finally. Soldiers, who are outlawed from making political statements, are steadily speaking out against US military adventurism. As Einstein famously said "The pioneers of a warless world are the young men (and women) who refuse military service."
7. Militarized police state: One of the darkest signs that the elite are losing their grip on power is the construction of the militarized police state specifically trained to combat domestic civil unrest. Local cops with tanks and other combat gear are working with Feds at Fusion centers, active Army units are on American soil for the first time in history, the NSA spy grid is being used by the IRS and DEA, and the elimination of due process for Americans under the NDAA are just some of the tyrannical moves made to secure the elite criminals from public backlash. They're clearly scared, and they should be given what they've done to the American people and the Constitution.
8. Serious secession movements everywhere: A state seceding from a larger political entity used to be an ultra-fringe concept, until now. In America, secession movements are winning over the public in parts of Colorado and California. In Europe, serious secession movements are happening in Spain and Scotland, as well as several EU nations flirting with the idea of dropping out of the euro. Decentralization = Entropy!
9. GMO food being rejected everywhere: Control the food and you control the people. True in theory, but much more difficult in practice. GMO leaders like Monsanto are being exposed. All of their economic and political strength cannot defeat the spread of knowledge about the dangers of pesticide-soaked Frankenfoods. GMO fields are being burned in protest in America and around the world, informed nations continue to reject their products, and labeling laws are gaining traction.
10. Cannabis liberation: Many reading this will think marijuana legalization is a superficial development. However, it is a major signpost that the elite's grip is fading. Enormous resources have been spent to keep cannabis illegal. Cannabis has been a powerful medicine for physical, mental, and spiritual health throughout the ages. This single plant represents a huge threat to the power structures and their industries, hence its seemingly senseless illegality. The approaching global reversal of the tyrannical policy of prohibition is the first of many concessions to come.
A Round-Up of the Police State Programs NOT Affected by a Government Shutdown
Like clockwork, we’ve ticked back to the annual government shutdown scare. It’s always an entertaining show, with both Republicans and Democrats doing their best to one-up each other with heartbreaking anecdotes about the millions who will suffer in the event of a government shutdown and showy bravado over the need for greater fiscal stewardship, while conveniently failing to rein in two of the biggest drains on our budget—namely, the military and surveillance industrial complexes.
Indeed, the one area not impacted in the least by a government shutdown will be the police/surveillance state and its various militarized agencies, spying programs and personnel. Take a look at the programs and policies that will not be affected by a government shutdown, and you’ll get a clearer sense of the government’s priorities—priorities which have, as I point out in my new book, A Government of Wolves: The Emerging American Police State, little to do with serving taxpayers and everything to do with maintaining power and control, while being sold to the public under the guise of national security.
Domestic surveillance. On any given day, whether you’re walking through a store, driving your car, checking email, or talking to friends and family on the phone, you can be sure that some government agency, whether the NSA or some other entity, is listening in and tracking your behavior. Police have been outfitted with a litany of surveillance gear, from license plate readers and cell phone tracking devices to biometric data recorders. Coupled with the nation’s growing network of real-time surveillance cameras and facial recognition software, soon there really will be nowhere to run and nowhere to hide.
NSA domestic programs. Government shutdown or not, the National Security Agency (NSA), with its $10.8 billion black ops annual budget, will continue to spy on every person in the United States who uses a computer or phone using programs such as PRISM and XKEYSCORE. By cracking the security of all major smartphones, including iPhone, Android, and Blackberry devices, NSA agents harvest such information as contacts, text messages, and location data. And then there are the NSA agents who will continue to use and abuse their surveillance powers for personal means, to spy on girlfriends, lovers and first dates.
Global spying. The NSA’s massive surveillance network will continue to span the globe and target every single person on the planet who uses a phone or a computer. The NSA’s Echelon program intercepts and analyzes virtually every phone call, fax and email message sent anywhere in the world. In addition to carrying out domestic surveillance on peaceful political groups, Echelon has also been a keystone to the government’s attempts at political and corporate espionage.
Roving TSA searches. If there is any absolute maxim by which the federal government seems to operate, it is that the American taxpayer always gets ripped off. Indeed, one of the greatest culprits when it comes to swindling taxpayers has been the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), with its questionable deployment of and complete mismanagement of millions of dollars’ worth of airport full-body, X-ray scanners, punitive patdowns by TSA agents and thefts of travelers’ valuables. Considered essential to national security, TSA programs will continue, not only in airports but at transportation hubs around the country.
Militarized police state. Thanks to federal grant programs, police forces will continue to be transformed from peace officers into heavily armed extensions of the military, complete with jackboots, helmets, shields, batons, pepper-spray, stun guns, assault rifles, body armor, miniature tanks and weaponized drones. Having been given the green light to probe, poke, pinch, taser, search, seize, strip and generally manhandle anyone they see fit in almost any circumstance, all with the general blessing of the courts, America’s law enforcement officials will continue to keep the masses corralled, under control, and treated like suspects and enemies rather than citizens.
Domestic drones. The domestic use of drones will continue unabated. As mandated by Congress, there will be 30,000 drones crisscrossing the skies of America by 2020. These machines will be able to record all activities, using video feeds, heat sensors and radar. A recent Inspector General report revealed that the Dept. of Justice has already spent nearly $4 million on drones domestically, largely for use by the FBI, with grants for another $1.26 million so police departments and nonprofits can acquire their own drones.
Thus, when it comes right down to it, whether or not the shutdown takes place, it will remain business as usual in terms of the government’s unceasing pursuit of greater powers and control. These issues are the backbone of an increasingly aggressive authoritarian government.
So where do we go from here? If public opposition, outright challenges, and a government shutdown don’t stop or even slow down the police state, what’s to be done?
Do what you must to survive. Go to work, take care of your family, pay off your debts. But when you’re not doing those things, which allow you to get by day-to-day, consider the future.
Pay attention to the political structure that is being created in the shadows, the economic system that is chaining us down with debt, and the feudal, fascist society borne out of the marriage of government and big business. Avoid the propaganda mills posing as news sources. Express your outrage, loudly and tirelessly, to the government’s incursions on our freedoms. Yet act locally—taking issue with any and every encroachment on your rights, no matter how minor, whether it’s a ban on goat cheese or installations of red light cameras at intersections and on school buses—because reclaiming our rights from the ground up, starting locally and trickling up, remains our only hope.
